Christmas In July Day 1

Thank you for joining me to help me celebrate
Christmas in July!
Our Hostee for this blog, Lisa Peters loves all things about Christmas and starts planning Christmas as soon as the Christmas tree comes down.  I am so happy to participate in this blog hop so I can share some of my hand made gift ideas with you too!

I do have a few rules for this hop, in support of each crafter and the time they have put into their work, to be eligible for the "Grand Prize" you MUST visit each blog and leave a comment for each day of the blog hop and also become a follower at "Scrapping With Lisa" and my facebook page:  http://www.facebook.com/pages/Scrapping-with-Lisa/130882060 268842.  Please let me know if you don't do facebook and I won't count that against you for the grand prize.  Now for the grand prize, I bet you are wondering what it could be.   It will be a big grab bag full of scrapbooking supplies related to Christmas.
Have fun and enjoy all the wonderful projects created by some wonderful talented friends.

If you have started on this blog you’re on the right track. If not, and just found this hop, you can go back to the beginning HERE and hop along with us.

This hop runs from July 15-17th, so you have plenty of time to make it all the way through the hop. Check out each blog and see what each blog has to offer for BLOG CANDY!   Please come back tomorrow to see what new projects we have created.  After all it's Christmas in July and who doesn't like Christmas?  Or some cute gift and card ideas?

Now for my project:  I created 6 X4 custom notecard holders.  Each holder has 4 different cards and matching envelops.   I don't know about you, but email and Facebook just do not send the same message as a card sent in the mail.  I love getting mail from friends and family...I see them in the stack of bills and they are ALWAYS the fist thing I open!   Towards the bottom of the page you will see a mock up on how I created the pocket holder.  If you need more directions, just let me know!  I have included several design ideas for card designs as well!  Now scroll all the way down for some Rock Girl Blog Candy!

Rock Girl Blog Candy

Let me know what fabulous hand made item you created in the past as gifts. Psst...leave your email address so I can get back to you too!
I do not require you, but if you like become a Rock Girl Blog Follower and join me on Facebook!
I will collect all the names and randomly select 4 winners!  The blog candy is red and white twine!  Think of all the cute Christmas peppermint twists and bows you can create!

  17. Your card sets and holders are really cute... what a great idea! I'm with you on receiving cards in the mail versus digital cards. I love making my own cards and I like to see the looks on the faces of my friends and family when I hand them one of my handmade creations. They're so much prettier than store bought cards and there's just something about designing one for a specific person that appeals to my artistic sensibilities. Nice job!
