FINDING MY HAPPY PLACE:
I have embraced that fact that creating art is a fundamental necessity to my overall happiness. My love of art and crafting began when, as a child, I took art courses at the local park district. This passion grew when I entered high school and began taking classes in drawing, painting and sculpture design and in college where I learned about technique and composition.
Today, I continue my passion for art and takes pleasure in sharing my journey with others through my personal blog, Rock Girl Custom Designs. As it has helped throughout my life, I want to inspire others to find their own joy in creating and embrace a healthier version of themselves.

Fueling my creative drive by expressing my passion for art in many forms by working with different mediums and harnessing the best materials to create one of kind multi-layered/dimensional designs. I love to use my ingenuity to create original canvas art through the use of paper, acrylic paint, and canvas. I can not live without my white pens and black sharpies!
LITTLE PLACE CALLED MY OWN:
I currently reside in Grayslake, IL where my basement has become The Rock Girl Design Studio. It is my sanctuary designed away from the world where I find my creative center and peaceful place.
I live with my husband, Brett, and two fur babies, Pedro and Athena.
I have a 24 year old son, Cory James, and at 40 made me an empty nester!
