Rock Girl Designs: Chicago, Illinois, United States; Bobbi Jo Hickman has embraced that fact that creating art is a fundamental necessity to her overall happiness. Her love of art and crafting began when, as a child, she took art courses at the local park district. This passion grew when she entered high school and began taking classes in drawing, painting and sculpture design and in college where she learned about technique and composition. Today, Bobbi continues her passion for art and takes pleasure in sharing her journey with others through her blog, Rock Girl Custom Designs. As it has helped her throughout her life, she wants to inspire others to find their own joy in creating. Bobbi fuels her creative drive by expressing her art in many forms by working with different mediums and harnessing the best materials to create one of kind multi-dimensional designs. Bobbi uses her ingenuity to create original canvas art through the use of paper, acrylic paint, and canvas. Bobbi lives in Grayslake, IL with her husband, Brett, her musically gifted son, Cory James (22) and two fur babies, Pedro and Athena.
