Thankful Thursday Design Team
Birthday
Special Wrapping
and
Packaging Ideas
Okay I will admit it...I am one of "those" people. I love giving gifts and surprising people, however, I bag it and go. (You know what I mean people!) I tend to get cute gift bags and some tissue paper and call it a day.
However, I really love it when someone spends a lot of time making a present feel special for me! My friend Christine Marting is a gift wrapping genius and I have to say, no pun intended "gifted" in this department. I am working on my gift giving presentation skills. Here is a my attempt of special packaging of a "SPA" gift basket.

How darn cute!! I love these lil goodies!!
ReplyDeleteI agree Tanya...a girl can NEVER have enough little goodies!
DeleteI have long believed that the packaging is part of the gift and tells the receiver how we feel about giving it to them. While we don't always have time to do a lot, I am loving the ideas on this hop to help do a little something to make our presentations shine. Your set is wonderful! TFS

I think that hubbies need to spend more time pampering their women and less time in the garage! You hubbies makes you a homemade birthday card? Really!?! He sounds like a keeper!

My fav thing to do on my birthday is to hang out with my daughter and husband. A trip to see the big cats at our local zoo is the best of birthday adventures. TFS your spa gift box is adorable.

I love special trips on my birthday too! I love spending my birthday with my family over anything else...hands down! Thanks for the love!
DeleteI really like to change it up every year. My B-Day is on the coldest month of the year in NY, which is February. I love live shows and entertainment. Sometimes my choices are limited by weather.

Your spa set is so fantastic!! Where did you get the cuts for your spa set? For sure it is not from the Cricut carts. It is so much better than their ideas. For my birthday this year (I turned 40!!) my and sister took me to a SPA. I have NEVER been to a spa. Can you believe that in 40 years I have never been to a spa. But, my favorite part of this birthday was the surprise party my husband throw me. Every year I look forward to my birthday cake. My husband gets me a special cake and has it always decorated in a Disney theme. ( I LOVE Disney ) This year was Tinkerbell because she is my favorite!! Thank you for sharing you fantastic talents with us this month.

This is FABULOUS, Sharon! I think you did a marvelous job with it and I would be tickled pink to get a gift like this from someone. The card and matching gift box are adorable! My favorite things to do on my birthday are to have a nice meal with friends or family at one of my favorite restaurants and then to spend the rest of the day crafting! LOL Thanks so much for sharing this cool idea and I hope I'm the lucky person to win it!
